Where are we?

How to get there?

Public transport

From main station: Take tram 21 or 24 to "Burgstraße" or "Hans-Thoma-Platz", get off at "Bunsengymnasium", cross the street and enter main campus (opposite the gas station). BioQuant is the second building on the right (building number 267).

From old town: Take bus 31 (departing at "University Square") to "Neuenheimer Feld" and then get off at station "Bunsengymnasium" and follow the above (see main station) directions.

By car

Follow motorway A5 to "Autobahnkreuz Heidelberg" and then take A656 to Heidelberg. At the end of the motorway, turn left towards "Chirurgie" and follow the signs to "Neuenheimer Feld". After the bridge ("Ernst-Waltz-Brücke"), turn left to the institutes (ideally near tram station "Bunsengymnasium", see map) and park in one of the lots or in the garage underneath the "Mathematikon" building.

Inside the building:

Our main lab is located in rooms 502/3 on the 5th floor. From the staircase, turn right and walk through the left glass door all the way to the end of the hallway, where you will find our lab on the left side. From the elevator, first walk around the central staircase and then follow the directions above.

In addition, you can find us in our second lab within the biosafety S2 area on the 2nd floor in room 225. For access, please ring the bell next to the locked door on the right side in hallway 201-215, or ask someone on this floor for help.
