Semester 3
In this semester you should undertake two lab rotations, working for at least 6 weeks on a small project in a laboratory of choice, attending seminars in that laboratory and writing a lab report.
Semester 4
The Master's thesis work lasts 6 months. You undertake a laboratory research project relevant to the Major Systems Biology, write a thesis, and defend it in an oral presentation. The seminar is usually held in the research group where you do your Master's thesis.
