Services & Infrastructure

The 'Advanced Biological Screening Facility' provides services for High-Throughput / High-Content Screening, which so far are offered for working groups associated to the Heidelberg Campus.

• Assay development - Support in assay development suitable for high-throughput solid phase transfection
  

• Sample preparation - High-throughput solid phase transfection of different libraries (e.g. siRNAs) on well plates or cell arrays

• Microscopy - High-throughput data acquisition: Introduction and access to automated wide field and confocal screening microscopes
  

• Data management - Access to mass storage capabilities to archive and process microscope raw data

• Data analysis - Internal software tools for image processing, statistical evaluation, bioinformatics and/or contact to data mining groups
